BAQUGAMMON

BACKGAMMON, WITH TWO MORE PLAYERS.

If you know backgammon, you already know how BaQugammon works at its core. The familiar game of rolls, movement, blocking, hitting, and racing stays intact. The difference is that the board has been built for four players. Now you have three opponents to watch, three strategies developing around you, and a lot more happening before your next turn.

THE CLASSIC RULES STAY INTACT

KNOW BACKGAMMON? YOU ALREADY KNOW THE FOUNDATION.

BaQugammon does not ask you to learn an entirely different game.

The familiar principles of backgammon remain:
“There are four players around the board instead of two.”
A Bold Evolution of Chess

FOUR PLAYERS CHANGE THE BOARD YOUR MOVE DOESN'T STOP WITH YOUR OPPONENT.

In traditional backgammon, you have one opponent to read. BaQugammon gives you three opponents.
A move that helps your position may affect another player’s route. A roll that looks harmless can suddenly open an opportunity for someone else. And while you are watching one opponent, another may already be changing the board.

“That is where the four-player format changes the strategy.”

THE DOUBLED BOARD

MORE BOARD. MORE PLAYERS. MORE TO KEEP TRACK OF.

BaQugammon expands the traditional board to accommodate four players. The familiar backgammon foundation remains recognizable, but the larger board gives everyone space to play their own game while still sharing the same race. The rules remain familiar, but the expanded board creates more positions, more interactions, and more players to track at once.

THREE OPPONENTS

WHO ARE YOU REALLY PLAYING AGAINST?

With three opponents on the board, the player directly in front of you is not always the only one you need to watch. Pay attention to the positions developing around the board. One player’s move can change the options available to everyone else.

HOW TO PLAY BAQUGAMMON

START WITH THE BACKGAMMON YOU ALREADY KNOW.

If you know traditional backgammon, the basics will feel familiar. You roll, move your checkers, build positions, hit when you can, and work toward bearing off your pieces. The main adjustment is learning to read a board shared by four players. Keep track of your own position, but don’t lose sight of what everyone else is building.

WHO IS BAQUGAMMON FOR?

FOR BACKGAMMON PLAYERS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILY.

“BaQugammon is built for players who already enjoy backgammon and for groups looking for a four-player strategy game to play together. The familiar rules make it easy for experienced players to start, while the shared board gives friends and family more to watch, react to, and plan around.”

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN BACKGAMMON GETS TWO MORE PLAYERS?

You already know how to play. Now bring three other players to the board and find out what changes.
